Tilly's Kids under the direction of Pastor Tilly Giresi is an extension of the House of Mercy Mission serving the community of Newark, NJ.   Tilly's Kids provides children spiritual nourishment highlighting God’s love; emotional well-being for their souls, and food and clothing for their bodies.  Tilly's Kids is now incorporated and all gifts and donations are tax deductible.  Many children growing up in Newark never have the opportunity to know that there is more to life than drugs, alcohol, verbal and physical abuse, gangs and crime.  We are trying to expose inner city children to a life outside of a poverty stricken atmosphere.  We are trying to break the cycle of this so called "cultural life".  Tilly's Kids is comprised of children who reside in Newark, NJ, who come together on a weekly basis for After-School Tutoring, Bible Studies, Phonics and monthly outings and summer programs.
